Plot

When 12 extraterrestrial spacecraft silently hover over different locations across the globe, an elite team is put together to investigate - including linguistic exper, Lousie Banks (Amy Adams). As nations teeter on the verge of global war, Banks and her crew are must race against time to find a way to communicate with the mysterious visitors.
