Plot

Based on a true story in the later years of Queen Victoria's. Queen Victoria (Judi Dench) strikes up an unlikely friendship with a young Indian clerk, Abdul Karim (Ali Fazal). As the friendship deepens, the Queen begins to see a changing world through new eyes and joyfully reclaiming her humanity.
